At Synopsis, we offer unique international experiences through programmes like Erasmus+ and the Turing Scheme. These opportunities allow our students and professionals to immerse themselves in new cultures, gaining valuable skills, essential for their personal and professional growth. The positive impact is evident in the enriched learning experiences and lasting connections they build. These opportunities are a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment at Synopsis.

The Turing Scheme is the UK government’s program that funds international education and training opportunities. It enables UK organizations in higher education, further education, vocational training, and schools to offer students and learners life-changing experiences abroad.

This Programme supports lifelong learning by fostering the educational, professional, and personal growth of individuals in education, training, youth, and sport. This contributes to sustainable growth, social cohesion, and innovation while strengthening European identity.

We engage in two key Erasmus+ activities: individual mobility (Key Action 1) and organizational cooperation (Key Action 2).

At Synopsis, we go beyond mobility programmes by engaging in a range of projects such as educacional research or artistic residencies. Supported by Erasmus+ and other European funds, these initiatives allow us to diversify our activities and increase our impact. Through international collaborations, we foster innovation and expand opportunities for creative and professional growth. These projects are crucial for broadening perspectives and reinforcing our dedication to creating valuable and enriching experiences.

"Breaking the Patterns" is a two-year programme which aims to support emerging artists through residencies, exhibitions, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. 72 participants from Ireland, Greece, Portugal and Spain will have the opportunity to showcase their work in different exhibitions, managed and produced entirely by them, taking place in Dublin, Crete, Lisbon and Seville.

Intercambio+ VET, funded by Erasmus+, engages employers and participants completing an international work placement, and provides them with sector-specific language materials and a mobile app as aid to help them develop their conversation skills in a foreign language. The 6 target sectors are Ecology and Conservation; Third Sector and the Social Economy; Cultural Heritage; Digital Media; Architecture, Construction and the Built Environment; and Creative Industries.
